Dear colleagues,

All participants who were accepted to present a talk or a poster at the 10th ELT Research Conference are kindly invited to submit a 5000-word long manuscript for publication. Authors should keep in mind that all submitted papers will undergo a rigorous review process. Therefore, the authors are advised to follow the format guidelines closely (Click here for Initial manuscript submission and formatting submission guidelines and Manuscript Evaluation and Selection Form). The deadline for full-text manuscript submission is 17 June, 2018.

Please send your manuscripts through the conference email address: eltresarchconfrence(at)gmail(dot)com

There are three publication options: the journal of Language and Linguistic Studies (http://www.jlls.org/index.php/jlls) and the Journal of Theory and Practice in Education (http://dergipark.gov.tr/http-eku-comu-edu-tr) and an e-book to be published by Nobel Academic Publishing.

The review process and selection of the manuscripts will follow the steps below:

  1. After the deadline for the submission of the full-texts on 17 June, 2018, the manuscripts will undergo an initial, pre-screening phase and those papers that do not meet the provided format guidelines will be rejected and the authors will be informed immediately. This initial, pre-screening phase of the review process will be handled by the scientific committee members of the 2018 ELT Research Conference.
  2. The Committee will select the full-texts for possible inclusion in the three publication outlets stated above. After the selection phase, the author(s) of the accepted manuscripts will be consulted about the publication outlet that their paper will be sent to and their consents will be sought.
  3. The authors of the selected manuscripts to be published in the journals will revise their submissions in accordance with the related journal’s submission guidelines and submit them via the journals’ manuscript submission systems, which will then be further reviewed by the editorial/referee boards of the Journal of Theory and Practice in Education and Journal of Language and Linguistic Studies. Each journal will review the submitted papers in accordance with its own review policy as announced on the website of the journal.
  4. The accepted manuscripts to be included in the e-book will also undergo a double-blind review process that will be managed by the scientific committee members.

Once again I would like to invite you to share your research with a wider academic audience via the publication options offered here.

    Best regards,
    Dinçay Köksal
